IRA has partnered with a local harm reduction therapist, Aly Grider, who is the founder of Operating With Love, LLC.
Operating With Love, LLC exists to transform the way individuals, organizations, and communities respond to people impacted by substance use and trauma. Through therapy, training, and consulting, OWL teaches principles of harm reduction psychotherapy and guides organizations in creating policies and practices that are truly trauma informed and compassionate. Rooted in the harm reduction movement we are committed to supporting people impacted by substance use and building systems that honor dignity, resilience, and humanity.
We are so proud to offer therapy for individuals and staff, low barrier harm reduction group therapy for anyone seeking community and positive change, and a mutual support meeting for anyone touched by substance use. Aly Grider has spoken at many conferences about harm reduction therapy, harm reduction education, and a training she provides for harm reduction organizations around dealing with sexual harassment through a harm reduction lens.
